Hi, I was thinking about the chat channel and It's kinda weird whe nyou think about it. You can toggle all chat channel's offf and on but you cant toggle the announchments, This makes sense, so you wont miss the announcments but:

In this "channel" there are other things that pop up, like winning round on nine rings, it would make sense to be able to toggle that off, go on and flame away that you should do less afking on rings, but it is really anoying if you still wanna chat with you fellow players

so, option to be able to toggle off the announcement channel, its not hard to implent and It would make me happy

Yeah, that does get annoying. I don't care who wins a battle in the HOH and when we don't have favor. I don't mind seeing when things drop if they're green or gold. But I'd rather ANet spends their money on GW2 instead of fixing this, as it's been suggested before and hasn't happened. I don't think it interferes with game play that much.

I really don't care about other people's accomplishments. Unless they are in my guild/alliance I don't want to see them.

there should be much more chat filters (quest dialog, npc "shouts", etc).
